In 2020 I participated in a competition to create a fan edit of the film clip of “Automation” by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
The band provided a folder of footage, and the raw audio of the song. Fans were then free to add their own footage, and create a new version of the clip.
I used a number of AI / Machine learning filters and AI image generation to produce the additional original footage for the clip.
Filters developed by myself, and the footage was generated from a modified version of Deep Music Visualizer running on a Google Colab free instance.
